    Just heard the met forecast at 1.20 they mentioned wintry showers for Friday could be quite interesting what ya think?

    Likely to be on higher ground >200 meters probably.
    I'm hoping to see a sleety shower or two .

    Does to me, that faint red dashed line is the 528dam and its south of us..thats usually a good thing.

    Nice one - I didn't notice that. What exactly does that mean? I presume its the boundary between the cold arctic air and the warmer atlantic stuff?

    Its only one of the ingredients for snow to be possible,528 dam thickness or lower
    Without looking at dewpoints, from that chart in a WNW flow,they certainly wont be low for snow even if the temps are mid single figures.Maybe mountain tops might get sleet at best.
