What level are you at in water safety? I know of one course that will be starting some time in Feb for beach and pool - but you'll already need to be up to the IWSA rescue standards. I'll be Tuesday night for 90 Mins over a few months. It's based in North Dublin. Can send you on more details when I know them.

The NPLQ is a RLSS Course and should be available from most pools that require it. You can ask the pool manager if they run courses as some don't advertise and rely on work of mouth.

PM me for more details, I am a Beach LG trainer, but can give you some contact details for the national pool co-ordenator who should be able to put you in touch with someone local to you. ( not sure if posting the details is against the rules ! )

That sounds really good. Tuesday nigths in north Dublin suits me fine. Id love you too send on the details if at all possible,

I was searching through the IWS site and couldnt find a example of the standards of awards> Do I need to have these specific awards or do I need to be able to be at a fitness level for example do 800 metres crawl, surface dive etc?
