Unable to access netvibes.com from laptop

Hi, Does anyone have any ideas as to why I am unable to access www.netvibes.com from my laptop at home! Works fine for me at work! It was working fine until a week or so ago. Doesn't work on IE or Firefox. I tried pinging the site but I get no reply. Weird coz every other site works fine! Any ideas :confused:

cheers will give it a go after work... dunno if that'll solve the problem though coz I can't ping the site & it's not blocked in my firewall.

I have NTL BB & I found this thread though about NTL blocking sites, netvibes is an RSS feed site so I wonder if this is the reason...

Just made some search and discover that NTL BB = Virgin BB

If fount 2-3 forums with some posts about this issue:

There is 2-3 tips for this provider, maybe it can help.

When you try to access to netvibes, is the website stuck on the loading page?

Only in the UK. NTL sold the Irish operation to UPC (via Morgan Stanley) in May 2005 and, though they continue to use the NTL name, there are plans to rebrand it UPC Ireland in early 2008.

If you are associated with netvibes, can you check if bogons filters on your routers have been updated to latest? NTL Ireland have just started using an allocation in 79/8 and this block was unused until late last year.
