Galaxy MP5K with ICS Retractable Stock?

    Hey lads,

    Just thought of somethin last night. Probably been mentioned before but is it possible to fit an ICS stock to a Galaxy MP5k?

    Its definitely possible in photoshop.

    it is possile but its not easy, im going to do this exact mod on mine aswell, you need to dremel out the stops in the slide track and you need to make up your own mounts for the actual stock itself, on the one you have theres 2 pins holding it on at the back where you put the battery in, on the other ones theres only 1 pin so you have to make little brackets to fit., it'll look cool though when its done, I was also thinking of doing it with an M4 stock aswell.,

    Are mp5 and mp5k receivers the same?

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

    If so an ics stock body could work, and you could get a metal one while you're at it.

    Let me know how you get on Vtec.
    When I was finished photoshopping I thought this would look the business.

    On the spec of the ICS stock it says its for Marui, and the Galaxy is a Marui clone. I thought that theres a good chance it would fit without modification.

    Another look at the spec says its for Marui MP5 (full size). MP5k is slightly different (ie where the stock attaches)

    yeah its definately different, its not a huge difference though and if your handy with a few tools then youd be able to do it., did you get a stock yet? im looking for one at the moment, only ones i can find are in america and the postage is stupid on them.,

    This has been discussed on here before. I'll try and find the thread.

    As mentioned above, the MP5 and the K have completly different retaining pin set ups and the receivers are slightly different.

    I've seen pictures on HKPro forum of a real steel K with a retractable stock so they got around it. I've fitted a UMP style folding stock to my K and it works pefectly but it needed adaption to make it fit. Looking forward to seeing your variants when finished....
