    Hi all,

    I have looked but I cannot determine what the maximum SD memory capacity supported by a Fuji finepix F40fd.

    It says here that the max size of SD card is 2Gb.

    However I think that if you had a bigger card (say 4Gb) that it would still work but might only show as a 2Gb on camera. Have any mates with a 4Gb or bigger SD card? Be interesting to check it out.

    After googling a fella called Skydog here say "I have found so far is that it will not accept an SD card larger than 2GB".

    SD cards above 2GB use a different technology (SDHC) to standard SD cards, and not all devices can use them, that's probably why.
