Tingle Creek

Voy por would be a good bet at 7/4 had Kauto's name not ben on the entry list. The way the racingpost reported this it sounded like it wasn't exactly far fetched that he'd run, eventhough the King George is less than 3 weeks from the Tingle Creek. I'll wait and see, on the plus side I'm heading over to Sandown saturday morning so won't be too upset if he runs!

Kauto star is very short on the betfair antepost market for a doubtful horse, if you believe his odds there he's 40+% to run

Really won't be a turn up if Kauto ran 2 weeks after the Betfair Chase and 3 weeks before the King George. I think they'll quite possibly leave the million behind if they run him at Sandown.

Cant see why they would turn down the chance at a million quid to run in the Tingle Creek, would be stupid imo.

Agreed. I think Hill's 6/4 w/o Kauto is a decent bet. Ante post rules apply so if twist magic doesn't run you get your price.

If the ground is ok and Twist magic runs, he wins imo.

i know i might sound like im mad here but VPU has beaten what exactly up to now. monets garden over a trip short of his best, Dempsey in the CC and Oneway last christmas.

He is the one of most overrated horses in training. an ordinary hurdler and an ordinary chaser. Just very very lucky to be around right now

Voy Por Ustedes beat Dempsey by a lenght and a half in last years Champ Chase.
He is begging to be laid in this years corrosponding race, it wouldn't take a newcomer much to have to improve to be 2 lenghts better than Dempsey.

Twist magic is possibly the most hyped up horse this year. Not saying he's not a good horse but his champion chase price is a joke considering his actual form. Voy Por won a decent arkle and champion chase. He jumps as if Alan King schools him over a brick wall. Throw in the fact he'll go on the ground and he's my bet.

wouldnt rule ashley brook out of the running if he gets a soft lead along with the bad weather thats promised then they could find it hard to peg him back. listening to p Nicholls talking on ATR today seemed to think neither twist magic nor kauto will run and he said hoo la baloo could be a cracking each way bet on soft ground!!!

This seems an ideal race for Nickname. Wonder why its not entered?

Have scratched my head and asked this question the last 2 years to be honest. He's meant to be out over xmas, maybe Brassil feels its the softer option (no pun intended!).

8 Line up saturday, no Kauto Star as expected.

An absolute dog who has never beaten a decent horse in his career.

    Twist Magic the real deal

lmao, hes a two time festival winner.

Super performance from Twist Magic though, the thought of him being even better on good ground is very impressive.

He wont be retaining the Champion Chase.

Must say Twist Magic confirmed the hype today, an excellent performance and no excuses for voy por. I don't think I've ever seen a horse come to the pond fence travelling as well. The scary thing is I saw him before the race and thought he still had a bit of tightening up to do.
