Is installing a Blu Ray/HD DVD drive the same as installing a DVD drive?

    Is there any difference in installing a Blu Ray/ HD DVD drive than a DVD drive? Is there anything more to install than a DVD drive?

    no. more or less the same apart from software as different companies use different software.

    just make sure u have the connection that drive needs, ide or sata
