    Am I correct in thinking that with an 'Ipod' and only an ipod it is possible to connect it to a PC and download music 'directly to it', without downloading to a folder on my PC and then copying from such folder. And that this is the practise for all non-ipods:confused:

    Nope... the song downloads to a folder on your PC, it is automatically added to itunes, if your ipod is set to auto sync then itunes will export the newly downloaded track to your ipod.
