Hi. I'm looking to get 4gb ram but I've a dilema....should I get it in two 2gb sticks or four 1gb sticks. The former seems to be slower when compared to the latter of the same make:

I won't be needing any free slots for a while, so should I go for the four sticks?

Also, am I right in thinking if I'm not going to overclock the memory (I might the cpu) then there's no point in getting anything higher than PC6600? Even with a board with a fsb of 1333mhz?

    Thanks....appreciate any help here.

I would suggest searching for some specific information for the board you are buying and then deciding. Some boards might be faster with the 4 x 1Gb option. Some boards might be less reliable with the 4 x 1Gb option.
