Provisional license application question

    Hi everyone,
I passed my motorbike theory test over the weekend and I intent to apply for my provisional license.
My (probably silly!) question is that the license application form says you must send in your current license - but its a bit ambiguous, is that just in respect of re-newing an about to expire license for the same vehicle class?
I have a full car license, so do I need to send that in with my application for a bike provisional?
    Thanks

No need to show your car licence. Just bring application form, 2 pictures and theory test pass sheet and money. Leaner permit will be out in a couple of weeks.

Just though, have they changed the applictation form now that the provisional licence is gone and replaced with the learners permit?

    Hi,
    Thanks for that.
I picked the form the garda station on O' Connell street on saturday morning, its still the same form as I remember it being, nothing about a learner permit
There a code down the bottom saying 11/06 - might be the last revision number/date?
    Thanks again

    Ian
