Electronic Keyboard Recommendations -

Looking to replace a Yahama "DGX-500" as a gift for Christmas -

I am from a programming background and know very little about electronic keyboards.

The one requirement is that the keyboard has "weighted keys" and the other important factor is that the budget is between 450 - 650 euro.

Any advice from the boards members would be very welcome.

"Weighted" keys, or piano-style "hammer action" keys?
88 keys (full size for piano) or 61 keys (normal keyboard)?

"Weighted" keys is probably more in my budget but I'm not sure, and as regards 88 or 61 keys - no preference here just to say that it will not be moved around much.

You could try someting like this:

And look to add a controller keyboard if you miss the range or feel of 88 weighted keys.
