    What are the Ireland "Average Stats" I can't find that on www.speedtest.net

    Mine are:
    Fastest Download:
    11552 kb/s
    Fastest Upload:
    1234 kb/s
    Average Download:
    5551 kb/s
    Average Upload:
    909 kb/s
    Faster than 94% Global and 95% Ireland.
    (Metro fixed wireless connection)

    I see one of fastest places is Killkenny & Ballymun in Ireland and eircom, the biggest single ISP doesn't make it on to the list at all.

    Forgetting Ripwave, 3G/HSDPA etc, I'd say the major issue is not speed, especially if LLU was more affordable, but getting Broadband in the 1st place.
