Are HP Pavilion laptops any good? I saw one recently with
    • 2.2ghz processor
    • 200gb harddrive
    • 2gb ram
    • dvd/rw
Had a few more things aswell but I cant remember them. Was a nice small size, much smaller than my own so I was very tempted especially with the price about €1,200. Compaired to other brands I've seen with a similar spec its much cheaper but I haven't heard anything about HP laptops so just wondering if they're any good in general.

I had a pavilion for the past 2.5 years and a buddy also has one. In both cases, they were great. Build well, ultra reliable and never a glitch out of them.

I'm buying an Acer now only because they happen to have one particular model that ticks all my boxes (and I used to sell Acers so I know and trust them), but I'd happily and just as easily go for another pavilion.
