Just thought i'd point these out:

    Golf Rangefinder Scope @ 12.99

Probably doesn't have too much practical use on the skirmish field, but could be handy if your not good at judging range.

Bresser Nightlux Night Vision @ 159.99

Dont expect much from a cheap night vision, but it's gotta be better than nothing?

    Oh sweet!

Its a pity I just quit my job :(

Low quality or not they would be neat gadgets to have for MilSim

The range finder might be handy for RS

Range finder works by comparing the height of the pin/flag to the scale of the reticule so unless your storming a golf course it wont be much good to you :D

Nice spotting scope in the same offer, probabaly more use then the other bits:

Ah yes, I was wondering whether it would only work for golf or not, i guess the pin is always going to be a known height...

Knew it was too cheap to work as a normal range finder

The real deal are about €100 quid at least and more bulky. I've one for shoot real steel thats good for about 600 meters but TBH unless you have a pretty serious mil sim scenario requiring CTR and major tactical planning they would just be dead weight. The one I have dosn't work sub 20/30 meters.

    Krylon that night vision!

Its illegal to mount on an airsoft gun though?

Same as a laser, but more definite I think.

Put it on your helmet and use the iron sights.

Not sure if it is illegal since it is not inteded to be a gun-component, though its certainly likely to cause another 40+ page argument, way-hey!! :D

    Take a look at this:
    http://www.rsov.com/product_info.php?products_id=1292
I was going to buy one of these and use it with my
Night Vision: If they are the invisable IR LED's (and not the red coloured ones)
It would work wonders with El Cheapo Night vision.

You can get a Gen 1 Bushnell NVG (same gen as that aldi one but far superior quality) for $150US. Gen 1 is cheap as chips if you hunt around. Those monoculars are far to big to be mounting on helmet though, not to mention too heavy. Also it's probably got a 2x mag with limited fov and no mount positions.

Will definately take a look at that LIDL NV Monocular

I also found this when googling about

    http://www.nightvision-ireland.com/index.php?cPath=23_27

Another OS commerce site by the looks of it. Anyone deal with them before?

The visible/invisible active IR sources depends on how intense they are. As far as I know the invisible ones don't have the same kind of range/intensity that the visible ones have, could be wrong though.

If anyone is looking for NV from Ireland: http://www.nightvisiongear.co.uk/
They are located in Meath if I remember correctly. No showroom tho...
I got a PS-14 from them, and works pretty well.
Its possible to mount it on a rifle with an extra part, but that would make it illegal...

Very friendly and you can ask for different specs/tubes as well.

They work great, compleatly invisable to the naked eye. Great for marking targets or teams.

The PS-14 looks to be €1650 on that site.
Pricey, but I suppose if you need something like that its well worth it!
