    Morning all,

I have an audio cd that when I insert into my mac it just keeps ejecting for some reason. I've cleaned the cd but it made no difference, it appears to be loading and then out it comes again.

I've never had this happen before, can anybody offer any advice or information as to what this is?

    Thanks.

Bit of a silly question here, but does it work on any other computer / Hifi?

Also a silly one here, any chance it's being put in upside down?

Afaik there's some copy protected music cds that won't play on computer drives.

I'd concur with this. I have a few CD's that will not rip for me come what may. I know a few tricks to get past it though, but that would be telling ;)

    Right lads,

I need serious help here, it's now happening to every cd/dvd/disc I put into my mac:confused:

These aren't even copy protected as they are already copies themselves, and yes, all discs are being inserted the right way around.

I'm gonna shut everything down and try re-starting, fingers crossed.
