Thinkin about getting a bike again after 2 years off, had an NSR 125RR for 2 years. Lookin at a 250cc bike so I can go for the full test. So far Ive shortlisted a Bandit 250 and a Virago 250. Any else it should be looking at?
Im a student so my budget is quite low, around a grand (bike), so nothing new.
Also, how much insurance will I be roughly be lookin at?! I tryed to get a quote on the AON site but they wouldnt quote me. Im 22 with a prov licance.

Bandit 250 are pains to get parts for. You might be able to get a bros 400 or something similar which are under 33BHP.

They're also totally unreliable... Even a Bros couriered half to death would be a better bet. Seriously!

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Im on my second Bros now and intend replacing it with another. They take a good flogging and handle exceptionally well, their weak point is the fuel pump, about 200+ to replace unless you find a second hand one. Make sure you have a good mechanic with you, alott of them on the market are ex couriered. Good clean ones are getting scarce and expect to pay 2k+.
