I have been staying in a student apartment since september and I am about to move out this week the prolem is there was a long pane glass mirror attached to the door of my room and it has just fallen off and the mirror has broken, it was stuck up with some sort of adhesive and if you ask me mirrors shouldnt be attached to moving doors like this as every time the door is opened the adhesive is weakened , what i was wondering will I have to pay for this out of my deposit, i dont think I should?

Yeah you'l probably have to pay it out of your deposit as kevin216 says, but if its a landlord then you might be able to twist there arm.

Student accomodation usually give out checklists at the start of the year to say what in the house. If its not on it, it never existed! ;)
