Where have all the drummers gone?

Hola mis amigos!

Righto, our sextastic (unfortunately titled) band, "We Deal LSD" is in desperate need of a drummer to spice up a threesome relationship. The band consists of a: Guitarist/Vocalist (that would be moi), second Guitarist and Bassist. We're based in West Cork and we've been together now over a year with a nice collection of 10 originals which are itching to have a groovy drum beat put to them.

Our influences include: Queens of the Stone Age, The White Stripes, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Nirvana, and every bloody thing in between.

Ideally we've love to find someone with similar influences, but really we're like any other like any person with low self esteem after a few drinks on a Saturday night, we're easy and open to suggestions.

.........try www.drummingireland.com it's where most of us stix people live these days....i seem to remember a couple of Cork based lads on the site..not a promise...but hey...can't hurt eh!

Sorry I`m not a drug-addled drummer even though I`m a good one. With a band name like that, all I can say is "get off the stage", you`re taking up space.

I didn't realise we were discussing the band but ok, here we go.

First off, you may possibly be, as you quoted yourself, a "good" drummer but you ain't too bright when it comes to puns are you? L (Love) S (Sex) and D (Dancing). :eek: Yeah like I know, surprise, surprise it's the first time any band has done this. We should be put down. I could not agree more. So to answer another possible question in case you're wondering, the only thing we were smoking when we came up with the name was tobacco. Again surprise and happy Christmas, we're not "drug addled" peops either.

I'm also amazed you were able to hear our music through the realm of this discussion board and nicely order us off an imaginary stage. Those finely tuned drummer ears can clearly hear sound waves outside the room you lock yourself in. Oh and let me asure you, the "space" is all yours my good, whatever gender you claim to be.

EXACTLY!!! Thank God there's somebody out there with the amazing brain capacity that seems to be required to understand our band name!! We should be fair though I'm sure our drummer chum(p) has never listened to any music outside the top 30 singles chart. And also he can drum pretty well to "Uptown Girl" I've been told.

So much love and respect to you my dear friend, and just to let you know there's a special place for on our island off the coast of Cuba. Well we haven't bought it yet, but one day...

Thank you kindly Baggio! Yes indeedy, it's only too true to say it can't hurt. Although I have heard there are some internet viruses that can cause brain damage or "Cantstoplisteningtodanielodonnelenza", none the less I'm willing to give it a go. Cus as all mez home bois know I iz just soo hard to the core. :cool:
