When I plug it it, the pc sees it, but I can't view the contents in My computer..

    Any ideas?

Is it mapping to a disk letter that's already being used???

When the drive is plugged in, right click on My Computer, then Manage, go to disk management and if you're drive is there, give it a different letter than what it has...

Sounds like USB device is trying to map the E:\ drive and you probably already have something mapped to this letter...

Do what dulpit said and it should work.

    thanks for the advice folks..

for some reason it just appeared itself.

I had left pendrive plugged in, and when I booted up this evening, it was there...

I'm guessing it saw it on bootup, and assigned a drive letter itself??maybe...anyway, working now..

    thanks!!
