    Not a quick reply (it only took me 8 years to see your question!!) but a reply nonetheless: "Leon & The Changelings" is the name of a song I wrote back in 1979. A band I was in, The Girlfriends*, recorded it in late '83/early '84 with engineer wizard Dave Freely. It was never released as a single. To the best of my knowledge, there's never been a band called L & the Cs... but there should be!
