    Does anyone know of a wine club in Dublin? I have done some courses but would like a more regular meeting / forum to chat and compare wines.

    Hi Sarah

    We have a lovely friendly wine club and we meet in Dublin once a month. Like you, initially a group of us started a year ago when we had finished our WSET Intermediate and Advanced certs, but wanted to continue tasting, analysing and discussing wines regularly. (And gossiping a bit about the wine business in general....).

    We post our tasting notes on our website: http://www.dublinwineclub.com/ and also our meeting dates etc are there.

    Anyone can join, and it's just about the cheapest wine club you will find, as it's completely voluntary and non-profit making, so everything you pay goes on wine (and a little food). What we're really interested in is having people who are enthusiastic about wine tasting and discussion.

    Although the first few members have done wine courses, most subsequent members haven't, so don't let that put anyone else off!

    We are actually having our Christmas tonight, details are on the website, and email (on wine club website) or PM me if you're interested.

    BTW I know this is my first post, but I'm a long-time lurker, and didn't sign up so I wouldn't spend too much time here!! :D
