A problem I'm having with Firefox is, when I go to Youtube, I cannot view content as the Quicktime symbol comes up with a question mark. I have gone over prefs but cannot locate solution.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I used firefox for a while and i loved it, but safari is so good these days, i do not even use firefox as my main web browser anymore. You could use safari to view you tube.

If safari gives me hassle ( not often) i switch to firefox.

Firefox is a bit stale now, but they will improve i have no doubt about that. So when safari gets stale ( for a while, in the future) i will use firefox as my main browser.

Open up the Quicktime Preferences Pane and go to Advanced and remove the tick from Enable Flash.

Thanks, tried this and still no joy. So downloaded Opera. This works a treat. Worth having, I usually use Safari, but it's good to have an alternative.

Seems to be working fine with the Firefox 3 beta. Can't vouch for Firefox 2 as I don't use it anymore, though I never remember having problems, other than the video 'sticking' on the page when I scrolled, which happened with any video on any site.

Yeah, I'm having probelems with Youtube, along with other sites. Infact I think that the flash intigration is terrible as I can't view some flash sites at all like (http://kuler.adobe.com/).

I'm thinking of trying Opera again although, I've been using Safari and it's pretty nice.

I've been having weird FF issues, especially with flash. My business' website is mainly flash based and FF was refusing to show things I needed to see so I switched back to Safari:p I used Camino for the longest time but wandered back to FF within the last month. I've tried reinstalling/updating and setting the preferences correctly but theres no give with it for some reason.
