code didnt work for me :( Although any I ever do get never work. I emailed pixmania 3 weeks ago when i was buying a camera and printer because i had a code that offers "€ 5 in discounts as of € 200 in purchases " but the code didnt work. After waiting over 27 hours for a reply all i got was "Pixmania doesnt give codes via email, contact the person you got the code from" ughhh. Frustrating as the email came from "From: Pixmania.com (promoie@pixmania.com) "

No need for pixmania to give out promo codes for Ireland; it's not like they have any real competition here. It's a different story for UK customers that have so many competing sites.

Pimania dispatches from Paris and uses DHL. Too bad Pixmania isnt too fast themselves with preparing the order.Once it is at DHL you get ehir tracking number and it is an overnight service.
During the night via birmingham to Dublin, early morning in the delivery van.

Only problem you'll have is Pixmania's customer service if anything goes wrong ;)

I've used them in the past and was lucky insofar as I'd no hassle but based
on the horror stories I've seen here on Boards and elsewhere online.

I also don't like how I've noticed they show an item as in-stock, deduct payment from your card immediately and then mail you to inform you it's
'currently out of stock but due in X days'. i have no faith in the stock status
of any item on their site.

yeah there customer service is a joke.and a 24 hour email response time is rediculous for a company of its size, And often when I order stuff using the ups serivce (they dont use dhl anymore) it seems like it takes them several days just to pick my order which is really frustrating.

As far as I know you cannot order stuff on the UK site to be sent to Ireland. Why not just order from the Irish site?

Because there are coupons you can use on the u.k. site to get a discount. Non runner though seeing as you can order for ireland from it.
