well the first 2 do that same job so down to looks there, the last one looks umm rubbish to me don't think it would look nice on an m4.

For me i would go with the acog look alike red dot, its practical and looks nice on the m4.

It depends on what you want it for.

The open sight is best for very quick, both eyes open target aquisition.

The ACOG (which I bought one of last week) is really the business if you are taking your time and need something that wont be too badly affected by glare. It can be used with both eyes open as well but it takes a little more getting used to plus requires zeroing.

I know jack about the other other than it mounts directly to the carry handle and looks pretty cool.

oh yeah i forgot to ask would the front sight on an M4 get in the way of a scope?

    the ACOG looks good alright
what i'm looking for really is a scope thats good for those semi auto sniping shots but also effective on the move

I'd probably go with the ACOG. There is no magnification on it but for the most part you wont need that if your doing ahoot & move.

As for a review ... when I have skirmished it a little. I want to get a good feel for how well it performs under fire.

I have a 3-9x32 rifle scope* mounted directly onto the rail on my m4 (i.e. with the carry handle removed, so it's as low as it can go) and although it looks like the scope should be blocked by the front sight, you can't see it when you look through the scope

I dont know much about them but on looks alone i think the first one suits the M4 perfectly, have seen a few M4s on the net with that type of scope.,

The second one was used on the M4 in CoD4.

I think the EoTech sights look the best on M4s. I havent seen any for under €200 though.

it does look a bit exposed alright, i think i'll be better off ordering the ACOG although a scope on the carry handle would look good
