    Hi all,

Anyone know of a restaurant which serves traditional Hummus and Falafel's in Cork or greater Cork County?

I've experienced it in the middle east and loved it - I would like to share the taste and experience of authentic Hummus with my wife, so am looking for something fairly traditional

    ie this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Hummus_from_The_Nile.jpg

    Many thanks
    James.

Not a very traditional spot, but I know the Liberty Grill on Washington St. does a falafel sandwich.
I think there's a casual place around the corner on South Main St. that also serves falafel.
Can't think of any specialist middle-eastern type restaurant.

falaf-al's. falafel version of fast al (the lads who serve savage pizza out a window)

dunnot where you can get falafel, but you can defo get hoummous in the tapas bar on bridge st and also in cafe bar deli on academy st.

also, to eat at home, the douglas hyde do a savage basil hoummous, they sell it in their shop in wilton.
