Downloading vidoes for google video?

    I think this is the right forum for this question.

    Does anyone know if you are able to download videos from google video, I tried doing it with firefox un-plug and I tried clicking the download option that does be beside the videos and they download with un-plug but when I try to play them I get an error message saying "this is not a video file" or something like that. Anyone know what the problem could be. Oh and I'm of course talking about the completely free uncopyrighted files here. Thanks.

    It's probably in flv format. Use VLC to play it.
