    Hey,

Can anybody tell me what the name of the dinosaur that Pat Kenny was harping on about on the Late Late Toy Show? Like, it grew up to behave exactly as you treated it and it didnt like being turned upside down. He then tripped over it, and it had a seissure (yes, the Toy Show went smoothly!).

According to the website, its Play Doh Dinosaur from Nimble Fingers. I googled, and im not getting anything close to what Pat was showing. He said it would be out on December 12th.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers.

    Kevin

It's called Pleo - Will be selling for well over €350 when it is for sale - bet Pat didn't tell you that!

There are a few can be got from the States on eBay

But expect the lovely customs people to want a share.....

That dinosaur is on the front cover of the Smyths catalogue so I'd expect they'd be getting a few in when it's released later on this month...

Ya there all around the €300 mark. Would of expected eBay to work out cheaper, but not much of a difference!

That sort of price for a kid's toy is absolutely disgraceful IMHO.

There's a good bit of tech behind it.... Its been due out for ages. They're said to be impossible to get in the states. I can't see a parent buying it for their kids tho....

379.99 in smyths. Rip off really. I mean a young child would ask for that for xmas and still expect a ton of other stuff. After all its only a small toy! I can see the novelty wearing off after a few weeks if not days.

I don't see anything wrong with the technology ,very interesting imho.

If it was over 500 euro ,that would be ttp.

Ah the tech is good and tis a good idea. Im not to sure if its worth nearly €400 for, and as people said, this along with other presents will cost a fortune.

Its Christmas though, so it might drop in price as time goes on. :)

I'd keep kicking the dinosaur to see if I could teach it to bite...
