ps3 memory?

    how much memory should the playstation 3 have (60gb) have, because i have one that says it has 47gb/55gb and i havent saved anything, have no videos or anything. is this normal?

    Its always normal for storage devices to not show full capacity, this is normal and depends on file system, in this case maybe even contain ps3s data hidden from the user, its normal though to see 55gig on a 60gig hard drive, and maybe the other space is used by the ps3 o some games you have used (I read that ps3 oblivion and others install game data on hard disk)
