    Hey,
I'm buying a HD lcd today. The best 40 incher I can find in the shops is the Samsung LEM87BD. I've been offered it for 1500.

My question is, does anybody know of a better TV which I can buy today in Dublin for less than 2000?
    Thanks,
    Kev

I ended up getting the Toshiba Regza 42X3030D and its great.

I saw the M87 beside it and the Toshiba seemed far better for SD and pretty much the same for HD. The guy in the store claimed it was due to bad wiring but I highly doubt that.

TBH, my M87 makes SD look pretty wretched. Toshibas have scored well in reviews when it comes to SD. Sounds like you made the right choice.
