Was watching it last night, just to see how cringeworthy it has become.

Pat Kenny is such a gimp. He has aboloutely zero communication skills with anyone, let alone kids.
There were a few classic moments like when a balloon popped and he jumped, screamed and grabbed onto the woman beside him!!! hahaha

I missed it because i was in a mood with everyone at home, but it actually true, Pat Kenny has all the carisma of a plank of wood, The Toy Show is nothing without Gaybo, standards have been slipping a lot since he left.

I switched over just as Pat nearly tripped up on one of the toys left strewn on the ground, unfortunately he managed to steady himself before falling flat on his face. I love watching RTE trying to do live programming and failing dismally in the process.

Give him a break for gods sake . . I watched the Toy Show with my kids last night and we all loved it . . Pat's been doing the Late Late (including the Toy Show) for years now and the public continue to vote with their Remote Controls !

Doesn't say much though i'm afraid...i guarantee you half of the people watching it last night were sitting there splitting their holes everytime Pat made some ridiculous comment, or some toy didn't work because the 'environment' was interfering!

Turned on the late late last night in the vain hope that the toy show would inject a little christmas cheer, alas as usual my hopes were dashed by the shocking quality of RTE's live shows. Not only did Kenny look even more wooden and uncomfortable than usual, (at times i actually thought he was going to shout at some of the children to hurry up). The production quality was awful as well with camera shots capturing the moles in the background cleaning up, and shots of the toys half out of the screen. An absolutely shameful, embarrasing production. Kenny is not the man for the usual LLS but stick him in with some kids and ask him to be relaxed and he falls apart. Kenny is shockingly disingenuous and was absolutely cringeworthy to watch last night. Keep him on current affairs or perhaps the news. You ruined the LLTS RTE you bunch of absolute ****ing ****!:cool:

I am just waiting for a Pat Kenny-alike to pop up on Curb your Enthusiasm or if they ever do return to Seinfeld for an anniversary show, I cannot begin to imagine what people outside of Ireland make of Pat. He's like an unfunny Alan Partridge, I often watch the late late for pure entertainment value as I am guaranteed to be in stitches at whatever Pat is mumbling about. I reckon if you put cameras backstage, he's exactly like Hank Kingsley from the Larry Sanders show.
