Evil Knievel dead at aged 69

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) -- Evel Knievel, the hard-living motorcycle daredevil whose jumps over Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho's Snake River Canyon made him an international icon in the 1970s, died Friday. He was 69.
Knievel's death was confirmed by his granddaughter, Krysten Knievel. He had been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that scarred his lungs.

Knievel had undergone a liver transplant in 1999 after nearly dying of hepatitis C, likely contracted through a blood transfusion after one of his bone-shattering spills.

The evel knevel toy was the bestest ever.
It was pretty indestructible too,I seem to rember my still working long after evel was lost and the bike was barely 2 wheels and that big scary flywheel.
Its the first toy i rember getting where I was so heavily influenced by the tv ad - ok maybe scaelextric was first but it wasnt as good as the ad - evel was:)

Due to my dislopisca I don't know if I whether is the rain, sun general sky related goings on, or the word I meant to say.

It's close enough, never mind! It's obvious my mothers chain is far to long and I'm reducing it's length to 5 meters.
