    thanks for that, yea, ur right, the 5720 range are much better value.
    time to wake up and re-think this.
    the only thing is, you loose out on WSXGA screen resolution, they all come in WXGA

    I'm still airing on the side of the 6592G

    U get the following (most of which are not in other models)

    WSXGA - a big deal
    Bluetooth built in - nice
    DVD is modular and removable / replacable with battery / other - nice
    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT - very decent graphics
    IEEE 802.11n (draft) - new networking standard
    Fantastic line up of ports
    4 hours battery - upto
    Smart Card security - nice
    Fingerprint reader - nice

    €1324 on Laptopsdirect

    Its getting good reviews and it may well drop in price after xmas.
