    Hi, just seen an ad on the tv there with eamon dunphy about the stigma attached to people who have h.i.v....and could of sworn that I heard him say that he actually has the virus himself!!! Im shocked if he does.....does anybody know?

    He doesn't have it. Andrea Corr appears in a similar ad. The idea is they are speaking for those who suffer from HIV infection because there is too much stigma attached to the condition for sufferers themselves to speak out.

    They're usually caused by alcohol.

    It's a well known fact that anyone who appears on tv and acts like they have a disease, has that disease.
    It's like people who play gays on tv. They're all gay in real life.
    The Donnie Darko dude, gay. Heath Ledger, gay. Tom Cruise, not gay.

    Dunphy looks like he could be HIV.

    As for the ''stigma'', i never realised there was one? Do HIV people where a sticker to say they're HIV?

    What about AIDS? Is there no stigma associated with that? Man, i bet those guys are feeling hard done by now!

    What happened was, I signed up a few years back but never posted.
    Then I made my first post last week and one of the admins was so impressed with my first post that he made me a moderator.
