Firstly, depends on where you are as all 4 channels are on uhf in some places and on both in other places.
You may need a diplexer and also an amplifier depending again on where you are.
You can combine both aerial and satellite on one wire if there is only one coming down to your room but if there are seperate wires coming down, all the better.

Loughrea would indicate a 2 aerial solution, as Maghera being the closest tx. That would be a mix of UHF and VHF. RTE 1 on Channel E, RTE 2 on Channel H, while TV3 and TG4 are on 66 and 68.

Galway get their TV from Maghera as well

Would Cairn Hill (all UHF therefore one aerial reqd) not be recievable in Lougrea (not familliar with the locality. Maybe someone closer to there would know ???)

Look Up and see what all the neighbours have, that will give you the best idea as to what is required.

Indeed, see what the locals have arranged on their chimneys.
