Dell m1330 arrived- casing problem

    I got this for 802 euro

    and it looks gorgeous , except a little of the casing beside the speaker bar thing is lose well not lose but not fitted neat.


    I am trying to decide to send it back but nothing on the sit near that spec for the price (2.2 ghz processer and 7400 speed hdd)

    I guess i'm asking would others send it back ( i guess if from outlet some one did before) or am I right in thinking some people have found the build /casing sloppy and chances are replacement would be the same ??

    was thrilled, now almost depressed

    Well if its bugging you, send it back. Just hope you don't need it too soon cos it will prob take a while.

    There seems to be a constant stock of around 10 on the outlet page (i presume that's where you bought it?). If you watch it throughout the day, there's a very good chance that something similar will crop up - there was one with those exact specs up yesterday for a time.


    Out of curiosity:
    -When did you order it? ie how long was the delivery time?
    -What's the graphics card?
    -Hows the CCFL screen?

    i confirmed the order wednesday , the attempted delivery thursday

    I've not seen anything over 1.8 , or with the faster harddrive over the few weeks

    the only reason i found this was they had it listened as 1.66 but when i clicked on specs saw th processor and confirmed it with them

    I've not used it so can't tell u about the screen
