Got my Nuvi 770 Christmas pressie early!

    Wife got me a new Garmin Nivi 770 for Christmas.

    Been playing around with it and it a evolutionery improvement over my Nuvi 670.

    Slightly nicer interface and it seems that peripheral road names appear more often than 670.

    Form factor is much nicer with no flip-up antenna.

    Haven't been able to test the 2007 maps - will go for a good spin this weekend and report back.

    All-in-all an improvement but I don't know if it would be worth shelling out for but then again the Hen did buy it for me!

    That's good to know. I've got a 760 (no need for US maps) arriving for my Christmas pressie soon as well, although it'll be well hidden away until Christmas day unfortunately :(
