    Lol

seriously though: Soldier 95 Goretex Suit on flecktarn.co.uk, £60 but it's probably worth it for the waterproof-ness

Gortex is the business. Just make sure you take care of it, and skirmishing isn't taking care of it ;) So you'll have to start rewaterproofing regularly after awhile.

I have a really nice Gortex rain jacket, so nice in fact, that I wear it all the time. After only a few months I was noticing water getting through, and it was on all the spots that were being rubbed (bag straps on shoulders, side of the arms where they'd rub off of things, etc.).

So if you go for Gortex, Nikwax wash, and Nikwax spray should be your next purchases.

Goretex is the be all and end all of water-proofing.
    I'd pay £60 again.

As was reccomended by thehomeofdob NikWax spray or 3M Scotch-Guard waterproofing sprays are a cheap alternative. Should be able to get them in most outdoor stores

Thinsulate gloves are nice, they get wet but they don't hold water, unlike scopes cap.... I have some OD ones with peel back index fingers, toasty!
