Increasing the disk space in Windows XP using Parallels

I tried to increase the virtual disk space in windows from 8 gb to 30 gb. I used Parallels image tool to increase the size in windows xp. It still says there is only 8 gb available. I have 40 gb of space available on mac osx and have been trying to allocate it to windows xp instead. Anybody have any ideas?

Try that. I don't use Parallels myself but skimming over the first page there it seems like it'd work OK
