Good UHF Aerial for DTT

    I am looking to get the DTT trail in Maynooth.

    No sure if its possible but if anybody has gotten it there what type of aerial are you using or can you recomend one?


    Another thing is I have been able to pick up some extra channels on a Non Digital tv.
    I believe i am picking up Chorus from the connection box outside my bedroom window. I can pick up Discovery pretty ok , although easier at night with less interference.
    I was can also see around 5(Sky one, ch 4, 6, Setanta ) others with varying results.

    Has anybody heard of this before and do you think that a better UHF aerial would get me better reception.

    I an currently using a powered combo aerial that lidl had on sale a while back for around €10.

    It's illegal to watch Cable TV like that.

    I've no idea if you can get Clermont Cairn in Louth. You may be blocked for 3Rock in Dublin.

    Do you get your TV from Mt Lienster, Three Rock, Or Clermont Carn?

    Maynooth may be blocked from 3rock! but giv it a go
    I think the guide is an imaginary line from 3rock to Navan and North east you are ok - a freind of my can get Three Rock from Lucan so maybe it is possible in Maynooth!

    Claremont Cairn in Louth is your other option -

    Its not blocked from Three Rock.

    I know Gargantuan personally, so if ye want to come over and look at my rusty twisted metal grid antenna and 30 quid Freeview box, feel free :D
