I'd say there will be 50 runners.

That omaha/hold-em/life fish BCB is going and I've providing my own overlay. This is going to be big.

In answer to Jeff's original question i reckon it'll be over by 3.30 but he'll be gone before 12.30!

Not even enough interest to consider a €20 last longest..

    I think you're overestimating at 50 Olly...closer to 25 i'd say

WOW! Serious value tonight lads unfortunately I ran poorly when I value shove knowing the chief still hasn't grasped the concept of having to use 2 cards from your hand despite us being on level 4 lol. The board is 8754 and I have a mere 64 but I know its golden and sure enough he turns over a lone 6 happily declaring straight while the table clamours to see the rest of his hand. The chief turns over the ever reliable gutshot out with JJT. Typical.

I'll be back next week. I think there was about 30 runners tonight.

That was pretty sick Olly but still not as sick as the hand that knocked Mickste out..not sure exactly of the hands but Mick raised from the button after a couple of limpers. Only caller was Iffy??

Flop is raggy with 2 low diamonds. Iffy checks and Mick pushes. Iffy calls with some rubbish 9d3dxx for a 9 high flush draw and nothing else whatsover. Mick was semi bluffing but a 9 on the river meant Mickste lost to a pair of 9s...sick

I managed to take this down. 27 runners and we finished at 5.25am :eek:

We played it out to a finish with Eamonn C coming 2nd and Red John and Fergus getting 3rd and 4th..Very enjoyable game with tons of play..I'll defo play this any time i dont have work the next morning!

Unfortunately I slightly overslept for this tournament. I went to bed about 1:00 yesterday afternoon with the intention of getting up about 7:30 for the tournie. Didnt wake up till 4:30 this morning. These festivels really take their toll on the sytem, and I guess it was only yesterday that I got to recover from Cork. Id still do them every week if given the chance though. See you next week

Nice one Tony! And very good to hear that Eamon came second as well.

I'm not looking for sympathy on my hand with the chief that was just an illustration of the value that is available in the game I just wanted to rebuy!! :p It was hard not to burst out laughing in peoples faces at times. The amount of **** Fergus got for just calling behind with the worst full house against a confident river bet by the chief with a mere straight was a classic.

Cheers Olly. You're right about the value though! I managed to be at the table with competent players all night and their was some decent play at the FT once we got rid of the value like yourself, BCB and Mickste :p:p

Yeah i heard Fergus comment that "He must be playing a different game that the rest of you's" and i asked him what hand he was talking about and he said that one...sure a house is a house...he should be going allin regardless!!
