Don't forget to sign a copyright release form before you shoot le Tour Eiffel, else you will be in violation of established copyright and liable to be prosecuted for damages.

The copy right for the Eiffel Tower thing is a bit of a joke. The latest ruling would suggest that it is OK to take pics of it by night.

In a recent decision, the Court of Cassation ruled that copyright could not be claimed over images including a copyrighted building if the photograph encompassed a larger area. This seems to indicate that SNTE cannot claim copyright on photographs of Paris incorporating the lit tower.

    From here.

Quite how that would stand up if the tower itself was the main point of interest is another thing.
