I was thinking the same,I was going to buy it but wouldn't mind an opinion first and there isn't anywhere in Sligo to rent the games:mad:

I bought it last weekend, i havent had much time to play it.
However what i have played of it so far i have enjoyed it, as ever much better against friends!!
The 100m is great fun and involves you to pump the controller and nunchuck up and down for speed -similar to physically sprinting..
So you can imagine this game will give you a workout.
The events can be quite tricky to master, 100m being the easiest but there is also a lot of timing involved like releasing a throw in javelin and hammer etc...
i used to play a game on Playstation where you used to bash the X and O buttons for speed which was great fun. with Wii remotes its way more fun, just need to get two more remotes and nunchucks...
The shooting reminded me of duck hunt on nes. great fun
There are loads of events to unlock..
    Overall i'd give it 8/10...

Another potential buyer here. I presume it can accomodate up to 4 players?

International Track and Field... one of the most punishing games on the PS1.

I've liked the look of this Mario & Sonic game from the get-go but the lack of any big emphasis led me to think that perhaps Nintendo don't really take this thing as serious as they did Wii Sports (which i was hoping this'd be a clone of).

    Maybe a future purchase.

I'll probably getting this during the weekend and unlocking all the events for an upcoming wii party. I'd say it's a great party game and it's getting decent reviews for what it is.

Ah, makes a lot more sense now.

Now i'm curious but less inclined to buy. Might check up some videos/reviews.
