    You can do an evening course with TCD if you are an undergrad but I hear it pretty awful. Best bet is to take a course with the Alliance Francais that is conveniently located accross the road from trinity. Check out their website for class times and levels. The teaching will be far superior than the TCD course. Though it will cost a bit. They offer student discounts of a few % though.

    Hi,

    There is a language lab in the ats block. Go there and see what they can do for you, I would expect this to be free.

    Language exchange at the Ilac Library. The place might be still a dump but I found this quite useful

    If you intend going to France for your Socrates you will need to be up to speed with it. Can you get up to speed by then? You should be able to get info in Trinity on this.

    Also talk to the French dept. and look at the sticky notes students leave up around it.
