Satellite not working

    After about 5 years my English satellite, without any warning, is not working any more. Don't know any techie details - all I know is that it transmits regional ITV/BBC stuff from the Anglia region.

    Is it just me or is this widespread?

    You must be very wealthy to own your own satellite.:D

    Most English TV comes from the Astra satellite at 28.2 east, all the usual channels including Anglian are coming in clearly for me.

    Maybe the wind has moved your receiver dish out of line?

    Dish size
    Type of Satellite Receiver (Sky, or non-Sky FTA or other) What label on satellite receiver / decoder box?

    My ferguson FTA reciever no longer displays the EPG info for any channels. Does anyone know how to fix this. I reinstalled some of the channels but no difference?

    Which channels are missing the EPG and which satellite is your dish pointed at?

    Am conected to Astra 1 and Astra 2...ALL EPG info for ALL channels is missing.

    I was watching BBC last night (on Astra 2) and basic now/next EPG was present. There's not a lot of configuration involved with the EPG, it's either there or it's not.

    Was it just the now/next that you usually had or did you previously have something more detailed?
