Whats the deals with this new duel deck thing any1 got any info how dey are, is der new cards? and whats your prefrence? i'm 50/50 possibly leaning towards elves

Basically it's a promo set to get more new people playing the game. The idea is both decks revolve around simple mechanics and have a lot of juicy interactions to help players better unstand the game.

None of the cards in the set are standard legal unless they're in standard-legal sets, eg Ambush Commander in the elf deck can't be used in standard but siege Gang Commander in the goblin deck can because he's in 10th Edition.

Personally, i'd prefer the elf deck as it gets you 3 llanowar elves (if you don't have them already) and allows Wellwisher madness. In the words of an MTG nerd chatting up a girl - "I hope you're a Wellwisher, so then I could tap you for life"
