[Req] laptop memory

    Got a dell inspiron 6400 and it is going ok but would like to add 1Gb of RAM to the computer.

    Whats the cheapest place to get 1Gb of laptop RAM

    http://www.shop4memory.ie are pretty good for prices on memory. Chances are both your memory slots are full so if you want to go from 1GB to 2GBs ram you'll have to get a 2GB kit and get rid of the memory in the laptop.

    Open up the bottom of the laptop. There is usually a very small icon of ram no the outer cover, this is the one to remove. If its got 2 sticks of ram already there .. that be your answer.
