    <% session.invalidate() %>

    Cos its pure jsp and defeats the purpose of using JSTL in the first place.

    I found an alternative, there's only one or two beans that I need to remove from the session so I've just used the
    <c:remove>

    directive, for anyone who's looking for a similar solution.

    Yeah, that's what I was about to suggest.
