Hi. I'm looking for details on which satellite over Europe transmits RTE ONE. I live in Poland and would like to view this channel. Maybe you know details about freq. in GHz polarity, etc...Astra or maybe some other sat.

    Thanks a million.

RTE 1 is only available as part of the Sky service in Ireland. People here need to have a Sky receiver and subscription card.

It's broadcast on the Astra 2D satellite but the signal is not physically 'visible' in Poland.

Your best option is to access RTE media clips on their web site http://www.rte.ie/.

RTE Radio 1 is available free on Eurobird 1 (28.2 east, 11390v/27500) and Hotbird (13east, 12597V/27500).

Actually it is receivable in Poland just needs a big dish. Employees of AIB have been watching it there for years

But none are as functional or can be G'teed to work tomorrow. The non-Sky box solutions are hobbyist.

    Interactive & Epg?
