    I like 3 & 4 they really capture the essence of Huey and FLC. Looks like a good gig. not sure about the blue light in the last one I kinda want to shield my eyes from it

    Love the 4th one, I would change them to B&W though. Easy way to get rid of the colour casts from the lights. Number 3 looks like hes about to say Scooby Snacks!!

    the ones that don't work in my opinion are ones where his mouth is totally hidden by the mic. I always shoot with the aim of getting a full face shot with as little obscured as possible and even with singers who stay by the mic a lot, you always get split seconds when they move away from it

    They're mostly pretty poor in my, probably unwanted, opinion. Well, when I say poor, I mean framing, sharpness, timing.
    Did you edit these at all?
    The forth one is the best.
    The fifth, I have no idea what you were thinking when you posted it.

    I think for 1 & 3 - the colour haze/cast does take from them and they suffer a from chopped limb syndrome (no elbows - eek!). I think with its clarity, number 4 (for me anyhow) is the best of the bunch. In fact, i think 4 is quite a cracking shot, probably worthy of print - maybe to improve, give the guy a little more headroom. The crop appears just a little tight. Performances (where you are not in control) always seem to present rather difficult lighting conditions for people to take.

    4 is my personal favorite although I would get rid of the light bits in the top left corner and around the bottom right, just clone the balck over em. Damn you mele, I only heard about this the day after *shakes fist*

    Sorry Oriel, I know English is a hard language, but I'll try and use words you might understand. :D

    I said there were "some" nice images. By that, I meant that not all the images are nice, but a selection are. If you need for me to explain it any better, please feel free to PM. :rolleyes:

    yeah i take the points bout the mic, it was very difficult to get some shots without, UCd actually enforces the 3 song rule :(. upon reflection they werent the best of the shots i took, some nice mic freeones on my flickr.

    NO tommy tiernan tonight, notmy thing rcn, was shooting the manics last night tho... unreal, sadly 3 songrule also...and damn redlight galore,gonna be fun editing them when i get the time.
