Portal stretching across two screens

    This is really annoying me now :D

    I've installed Portal and want to play it. However I'm using Twinview and the only option in the game available to me is 2800*1200. I want to just play the game on one screen. Rather than post the whole lot again I've posted my configs at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3854900#post3854900 but it's not the most active of boards unfortunately.

    Can anyone here help? Feel free to post here rather than registering on the ubuntuforums.
